Shells and stones : diy neckpiece and a quick look of the Andamans

When you visit beaches there is no way you can resist yourself from picking shells.i was over the rainbow when i saw the coral beaches of the Andamans,Neil Island.

I handpicked some beautiful, textured shells for a neckpiece(i am a neckpiece lover). The shells had natural gaps through which a silver chain easily passed through and this is what i made.

Neil island is three years old, so comparatively the beaches spell heaven!!clean grainy sand, long sky grazing trees, abundant flora and fauna variety, lots of water sports and stunning coral beds that inspire you to grab a handful take home ( well u cant take them as it is practically banned to carry the corals out of the island) and you cannot miss the spell of the stars over the night sky.The other island on the list should be the Havelock island.Once you are there do not miss the scuba diving, radhanagar beach, fish banana leaf roast and pearl shopping.
I think i will just stop myself and let the beautiful pictures do the talking.

Late New Year Wishes

fellow free spirits,

“All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.” – Anatole France.

i fell into a sense of self reviving mode when i read these lines.last month i celebrated a good twenty days travelling from desert to beaches and i have no words to describe the experience,so i will let the pictures (in the next posts) convey it to you.hoping this new year i will be happy wanderlusting!!

in the meantime ,wishing you all a very happy new year and happy times ahead !

new dawn and full of sunshine to you
