At the NIFT Spectrum '14 - Bhubaneswar

Dont you just love it when you see creativity walking down a ramp and mesmerize you.Although it was a one and a half hour long wait seeing the students effortlessly shifting the whole stage from outdoors to the hall inside...it was worth it.The unseasonal rain wouldnt have stopped the Nift Spectrum 2014.

After the beautiful Kathakali opening dance and a series of video montages,the drumroll to the much awaited fashion show began.After i shifted home(read Bhubaneswar) this is my first chance to soak in the new fashion hub in the city.

There were in total 8 sequences with varied design expressions.The following images are the ones that really tickles your creative nerve.

Sashaying in designs made by paper was the first sequence

Another inspiring collection was the menswear named Solace

Firewater inspired the heavy patchworked tops and bottles were carried as accessories.

I promise i will do a better job at pictures next time :-) (blame the harsh indoor light..competing for space with other photographers ;-) :-) and forgetting i had a camera in my hand moments)
